L8log is the flagship Legionella Control Ecosystem designed and developed by REMOTE TECH LTD.
The Company was founded with a vision to innovate in the realm of water hygiene monitoring, specifically tackling the inefficiencies in legionella bacteria prevention in commercial and government buildings in the UK. This vision was borne out of Florin Mangu’s identification of the outdated and laborious manual methods of water temperature monitoring, which were crucial for legionella prevention.
The initial products, the S1 sensor and G1 gateway, transitioned into more advanced versions like the M1 module and G2 gateway, reflecting a continuous evolution in hardware design, now brought in-house for better flexibility and quicker design iterations.
Remote Tech has gradually built a robust hardware and software ecosystem, offering a Software and Hardware as a Service model, primarily through channel sales to water treatment or facilities management companies. This model facilitates quicker and cost-effective scaling, allowing partners to provide enhanced services to their clients.
